The West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission was conceptualized and announced by Hon’ble Chief Minister in the meeting held on 22nd February, 2017 at Town Hall, Kolkata in presence of Hon’ble Cabinet Ministers, management of Private Clinical Establishments (over 100 beds) in and around Kolkata and the media persons. West Bengal Clinical Establishment (Registration, Regulation and Transparency) Bill, 2017 passed in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly on 3rd March, 2017.
